Domo almost became a stray kitty again tonight. The screen door was open but human didn't realize and opened the glass door, so the backyard was wide open and beckoning to Domo for ? hours. And then the human passed by and saw Domo in the yard going o.o and human went @_@ T_T Domo come back and Domo didn't come back, and the human called and coaxed and showed him toys and food and he still didn't come inside so human went around the side door to try to get him, but there was no Domo to be seen, because he had gone back in the house.

Thank you for coming back home, Domo...

Looking Back on the Shelter Days

It's hard to imagine Domo once looked like this. Below was his listing an hour before we picked him up (the neutering had to do with our visit and deposit.)

I am a neutered male, seal point Siamese.

The shelter staff think I am about 9 months old.

I have been at the shelter since Jun 23, 2010.

The Kitties, 2011

Just so you can see how similar the kitties now look, here is a picture of them as they pass by my leg.



I attempted to get the human to hold up the kitties for comparison, but as you can see, that didn't go so well.

Kitties are Alive!

After being away for 9 days, harboring images of:
1) two weak, dying cats breathing their last as we walk in the door as neighbor forgot to feed them
2) Yoda half eaten by Domo from the leg up due to lack of food and survival of the fittest
3) Domo defeated and eaten by Yoda, survival of the meanest
4) both cats as round and fat as SushiCat from overfeeding by neighbor's daughter

Luckily, the closest to reality is 4). Domo is alive (in case that is not clear from the picture) and as toothy as ever.
